The CFIA refused to test the required " all dead birds up to a maximum of 10" required by their own policy and refused to test any live birds or to allow the farmers or anyone else to do so. That remains the case to this day. This could easily be done and with no risk to anyone or anything by taking samples from eggs laid on the farm in February 2025. Yet CFIA refuses to do so. Testing of eggs that were on the farm in 2024 before the illness presented in mid December 2024 and that had been frozen for research were tested and showed full antibodies to H5N1. The farmers were also tested in the spring of 2025 and showed they had full antibodies to the virus and none of them ever got sick.
The gold standard of testing is functional testing. This is done by injecting an embryonated chicken egg and putting it in an incubator and watching for 48 hours to see if the embryo dies. When the virus particles are obtained from the pcr test of the 2 dead birds there isn't enough virus present to sequence the virus. They need to grow more of the virus so they can sequence it. CFIA does that by injecting embryonated chicken eggs. Then after 48 hours or so they extract the virus and sequence it. CFIA did that here. However what CFIA doesn't do, and could easily do, is inject more eggs to see if the virus behaves like HPAI or LPAI (i.e., kills 75% or more of the embryos). That is the only way to really know. Sequencing the virus only gives you the ability to theorize if its HPAI or LPAI. Injecting a sufficient amount of embryonated eggs gives you the actual answer. It would take CFIA less than 30 minutes to obtain this additional evidence as they are doing it anyway when they are trying to grow more virus for sequencing. But they don't or at least if they do, they dont disclose that they did.
So if CFIA really wanted to know if the virus is a threat to humans or animals they would do this functional testing. Instead they dont, and insist on following their policy that if they have a suspicion of illness based on finding only an H protein based on questionable pcr testing, they will kill. Regardless of the science, the evidence, or common sense. Their policy trumps all of that.
That is the truth and the reality of the situation.
Don't forget to mention that this statement "Potential source of the virus persists" is the dumbest one of all as supposedly the avian flu is everywhere in amongst our wild and migratory birds and no amount of culling or killing of chickens, poultry etc is going to stop it from being out there unless they plan to mass poison or kill all wild and migratory birds that enter our airspace. So killing the ostriches does not eliminate the virus as it exists all around in nature. And if H5N1 is so highly pathogenic how are ducks and migratory birds still alive. We have not seen a major instance of a whole flock dying anywhere that I know of. There has not been any reports of millions of dead ducks and geese on a lake somewhere. We do however have millions of dead chickens or poultry but that is from mass murder or depopulation from CFIA not the avian flu. Perhaps the avian flu is similar to the human flu in that it more strongly affects those with comorbidities while more healthy individuals are able to generate an immune response and easily survive infection. Natural selection? We will never know as whole flocks are stamped out after just one positive test.

This was never confirmed to be high pathogenicity avian influenza or HPAI. In fact it behaved like low pathogenicity avian influenza or LPAI. None of the ostriches who were on the farm in 2020 and present for a previous illness (that the farmers understood was a bacterial infection - psuedomous but may have also been H5N1) got sick or died as a result ofnthe 2024 illness on the farm and only about 15% of the newer ostriches died. To qualify as HPAI, 75% or more of the birds would have had to have died from the virus. Later gene sequencing performed by CFIA in the Winnipeg lab confirmed it was a hybrid of HPAI and LPAI, a strain that they admitted they had never seen before. CFIA admitted in court that 14 days after the birds no longer showing signs of illness, they likely would no longer be transmitting the virus. The last sign of illness was Jan 14, 2025.
Good luck with that idea. Their "agencies" are just as compromised as other so-called 'health' bodies. Individually, too many vets are also heavily indoctrinated, AND too many are also actual animal abusers, behind closed doors. All that equals NO ethics or moral compasses.

The CFIA refused to test the required " all dead birds up to a maximum of 10" required by their own policy and refused to test any live birds or to allow the farmers or anyone else to do so. That remains the case to this day. This could easily be done and with no risk to anyone or anything by taking samples from eggs laid on the farm in February 2025. Yet CFIA refuses to do so. Testing of eggs that were on the farm in 2024 before the illness presented in mid December 2024 and that had been frozen for research were tested and showed full antibodies to H5N1. The farmers were also tested in the spring of 2025 and showed they had full antibodies to the virus and none of them ever got sick.
The gold standard of testing is functional testing. This is done by injecting an embryonated chicken egg and putting it in an incubator and watching for 48 hours to see if the embryo dies. When the virus particles are obtained from the pcr test of the 2 dead birds there isn't enough virus present to sequence the virus. They need to grow more of the virus so they can sequence it. CFIA does that by injecting embryonated chicken eggs. Then after 48 hours or so they extract the virus and sequence it. CFIA did that here. However what CFIA doesn't do, and could easily do, is inject more eggs to see if the virus behaves like HPAI or LPAI (i.e., kills 75% or more of the embryos). That is the only way to really know. Sequencing the virus only gives you the ability to theorize if its HPAI or LPAI. Injecting a sufficient amount of embryonated eggs gives you the actual answer. It would take CFIA less than 30 minutes to obtain this additional evidence as they are doing it anyway when they are trying to grow more virus for sequencing. But they don't or at least if they do, they dont disclose that they did.
So if CFIA really wanted to know if the virus is a threat to humans or animals they would do this functional testing. Instead they dont, and insist on following their policy that if they have a suspicion of illness based on finding only an H protein based on questionable pcr testing, they will kill. Regardless of the science, the evidence, or common sense. Their policy trumps all of that.
That is the truth and the reality of the situation.
The "testing" is a fraud. That is how Covidiocy was facilitated.
There is no "virus" That is the salient point. That is the greatest lie ever told.
Don't forget to mention that this statement "Potential source of the virus persists" is the dumbest one of all as supposedly the avian flu is everywhere in amongst our wild and migratory birds and no amount of culling or killing of chickens, poultry etc is going to stop it from being out there unless they plan to mass poison or kill all wild and migratory birds that enter our airspace. So killing the ostriches does not eliminate the virus as it exists all around in nature. And if H5N1 is so highly pathogenic how are ducks and migratory birds still alive. We have not seen a major instance of a whole flock dying anywhere that I know of. There has not been any reports of millions of dead ducks and geese on a lake somewhere. We do however have millions of dead chickens or poultry but that is from mass murder or depopulation from CFIA not the avian flu. Perhaps the avian flu is similar to the human flu in that it more strongly affects those with comorbidities while more healthy individuals are able to generate an immune response and easily survive infection. Natural selection? We will never know as whole flocks are stamped out after just one positive test.

This was never confirmed to be high pathogenicity avian influenza or HPAI. In fact it behaved like low pathogenicity avian influenza or LPAI. None of the ostriches who were on the farm in 2020 and present for a previous illness (that the farmers understood was a bacterial infection - psuedomous but may have also been H5N1) got sick or died as a result ofnthe 2024 illness on the farm and only about 15% of the newer ostriches died. To qualify as HPAI, 75% or more of the birds would have had to have died from the virus. Later gene sequencing performed by CFIA in the Winnipeg lab confirmed it was a hybrid of HPAI and LPAI, a strain that they admitted they had never seen before. CFIA admitted in court that 14 days after the birds no longer showing signs of illness, they likely would no longer be transmitting the virus. The last sign of illness was Jan 14, 2025.

But no, that would interfere with their business plans.

I haven't followed Connie so can't comment on her previous posts. But frankly, I see much duplicity and hypocrisy being committed on BOTH the farm's part, and of course the CFIA's, et. al.. But to be clear, these poor, innocent ostriches are paying the price for a plethora of human failings, and I wish there was a true sanctuary that could take them all in, instead...not that this is a realistic hope whatsoever.
But to two of your points, IF this farm is indeed laying blame on the "wild birds" as cause (saw or heard that somewhere, more than once), do they seriously not realize the globalists WANT to kill EVERYTHING/ONE?
